Frint yard landscape left photo...I love mypurple mona lavender... Itdoesnt have much longer before a freezegets it butit will regrow next year. I interplanted some white petunias to start growing in to cover up the bare stems untill spring and some yellow pansys infront of them closer to the sidewalk. Both Pansys and petunias are cool season flowers here in North Florida. Youcan plant them from October till well they go bad ina bout late April to earlyMay it gets to warm for them.

This area really looks incompleteright now but its becouse those sticky looking things are transplanted marthas vineyard roses that Johnyy broughtme home and I salvaged at the other house I just couldnt leave them so I broughtthem with me. I already trimmed them back and theyare putting on new leaves. This area will look totally different tin the spring.

This holly bush was full to the ground and a really out of place looking creature seeing as it wasteh onlyplant in the backyard, other than trees. Johnny limbed it up for me and I decided to keep it. It should have nice red berries on it soon. And in the background on the left is my other outdoor room, but its uglyand screened in with a black roof and black posts...Imnot so fond of it but I can fix it! HEE HEE HEE

My baby blueberry bushes were just planted but I hope they will getsome fruit on them next summer. Iput them behind the pot garden where i have to put all my herbs in pots so they dont drown next rain season, after this summer all i had left were my datyll peppers, some parsley and chives! I was miffed! Especially when my HUGE rosemary tree bit the dust! Oh well ...always a new beginning in the garden somewhere right.

My New house in Jacksonville
Ok so here is the house after I took out a few overwhelming things out of the front yard. Johnny limbed up the Oak tree so yu could see the house under it and removed a few trees from the large cluster on the left hand side.We also moved the ligustrum out from in front of the left side of the house, first of all I am totally alergic to them and it was blockingthe left side of the house it was about 12 ft tall and 15 ft wide. It opened up the front alot, I took a far out view from down the street becouse thats the only way I could get the whole house and most ofthe yard in the picture. Boo is standing on the sidewalk. From a distance
The grass walkway to nowhere!

One of my favorite things I did inthe landscape was the grass walkway leading to the fence that will eventually be an arbour and a gate to teh back yard. I had anarour that would have been perfect but Johnny insisted Ileave it and he would make me a new one so I guess Ihave to wait... or make one myself...hmmm...
The walkway to the street taylor made just for Boo!
We were half way done putting inthe walkway to the front door from the street when Noah came outside and said in his cute little Baby voice...Ohhh dis walk for me...you made dis walk for me! So of course I smiled and said Yes Boo we made this walk just for you to walk on do you like it? YA! He said ...DIS MY WALK (pause) WAY! So he still thinks the walkway was made just for him to run up and down trying not to step on the cracks. My little blond bundle of miniature Johnny!
My cabinets redone by me!...

I love them arent they pretty now! Itis such a huge difference if you knew what the kitchen looked like before, it was horriblly dark and the cabinets were old style wood veneer just plain flat no trim at all anywhere!. It was the onlything I totally hated about the house! Johnny didnt want me to rip down the cabinets off the wall before I put new ones up so I decided to go another rout.(seeing as how I am totally undecided about how to open up the kitchen into the dinning room and what to do with the space I consider wasted where a kitchen table is supposed to have gone before they enlarged teh pantry area.) And Im glad I did...it may buy me a few years...long enough to fix the bathroom before I have to rip the kitchen apart so I can get my nice shiny black granite counter tops with gold sparkly things inside!
