Predictions Quite Acurate

Ok so taday was as trying as I had thought. Although not all 6 trucks came at once only three at at time in two different sets! Plus the dump trucks dumping piles of sand so we can pretent we dont live in a swamp and then the highlights of the day... the customer that called me 16 times, yes 16 times and there was the truck driver with the 48 ft flat bed that I told not to go around the back section of the nursery to get out that there was 4 loads of sand that had just been dumped there and he needed to back up and make the turn to go around a different way. So he decides THAT IM A WOMAN AND I HAVE NO BRAIN AT ALL SO HE DOESNT LISTEN TO THE WORDS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH after all he is man and he knows best so he gets stuck in the back and they spend an hour getting him out with two Bobcats wait no 3 Bobcats at which time I feel compelled to announce over the radio speakers that I TOLD HIM NOT TO GO THAT WAY BUT DONT LISTEN TO ME, I DONT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT IM JUST A STUPID WOMAN! Then for some stange reason that little explosion seemed to make it all better and I just laughed at the poor guy instead of letting all the steam escape from the top of my head. After all Im sure his day wasnt going so well either. At least Darrell got a kick out of it. So all in all not to bad.
Johnny went to pick up the boys from my moms for me and he is even going to pick up dinner and I just took a 30 minute bath in my whirlpool tub with 3 candles and White tea ginger tub stuff. And it even made my legs feel better, I was walking like a ninety year old from about 4:00 on. maybe that was the ibuprofin John stopped at the store to get me. oh heres the lecture again...MY LEGS STINKIN HURT AND YES I TOOK TWO! See my overactive brain cells told me last night at the gym that I should do a different excersize machine seeing that my muscles had become immune to the torture of the elliptical machine. So I just had to do something new right. So then my overly intelligent self spends 30 minutes on a nordica track incline treadmill at a ridiculous incline so that I can get different areas of my mucles SO THAT I CAN FULLY EXPEREINCE AND APPRECIATE THE HORRIBLE TORTURE THAT YOU MUST GO THREW TO RESHAPE YOURSELF instead of just going to th gym coming home drenched in sweat hours later and feeling great I must torture myself and walk like a ninety year old for days! This must be why those men dont listen to me...stupid stupid stupid. And just for the record the ones that know me do actually listen to me, mostly out of fear, he just didnt know any better!

The Partys Over

Ok so I still love the fact that its warm but this yellow crap all over my car is sooo giving me a headache. I have been living on Sudafed for a week now and I actually woke up last night to the sound of my sinuses draining in to the back of my head, very reminiscent of what I would imagine scraping bone sounds like. Yes that is weird, no you don't care but I DO! Anyway this time its not going away with sudafed so I topped it off with 2 Tylernol no not one TWO. No lectures please...(my brother would be giving me a lecture on the danger of taking pain medicine all the time right now) But I don't care I have A STINKIN HEADACHE!

Work has been its usual spring hectic self lately. Filling orders for 3 different people in one day coming in on 5 semi's full of pollen producing flowers that no dought will ALL decide to show up tomorrow at exactly 12 when everybody decided its lunch time. And 6 landscapers come in all needing huge palms loaded. You know all in a days work kind of FUN. My Dad actually thrives on this stuff, the more hectic life is the better he functions, everybody else starts loosing hair and their eyes get dark circles around them and they yell at you for saying hello because they are too stressed out to function and my Dad is laughing and having a great time running around like a chicken with his head cut off. (except he actually knows exactly where he is going, what he is doing ,why he is doing it the way he is doing it and how you could be doing what your doing better and faster. )(bad part is hes usually right, ok ok 99.99 percent of the time he is right, but you know sometimes thats not good odds, just ask the stitch marks in his head) Anyways... Somehow in my creation God forgot to pass that little bit of genetic coading on to me. My Mom on the other hand cant drive in the place without getting ulcers. And the office with the phone ringing the other phone ringing and the radio going off asking for help or answers to questions while you actually try helping the person in front of you makes her eyes glaze over and her head just shut down all together. I guess maybe Im somewhere in the middle of the two. I think I do ok most of the time I do my best anyway but every once in a while a customer will really get under my skin and then Im shot out as Johnny puts it for hours and just cant get it together. You know people are actually surprisingly moronic. Thats another thing I didnt inherit from my Father, customers or anyone else for that matter (other than my mother) rarely ever get to my Dad. He just doesn't obsess over things that happen like I do. I can let one frustrating phone call bother me for days. And he is over it in like the next 3 milliseconds. I guess I get that from my mom, she doesn't let stuff go either. I just don't know how to do that. My brain needs an off switch sometimes.
But I guess for every one thing that goes terribly wrong you have hundreds of everything went fine experiences where I get to do what I love and share my brain full of needless plant garbage with other people who actually care to hear it. So all in all its a good deal. And hey its 70 degrees outside and every time I walk out of the office I get a whiff of pink jasmine. Cant beat that with a stick!!!

WARM WARM WARM!!!

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT! " Boss Hog" could not have been this happy. Its been warm outside for over a week! The weather is so nice, seventy something degrees with a breeze. Ahh the stuff Hawaii is made of! ( I personally think that you only live once you should live it in a climate that makes everyday a gorgeous day! And my only regret in life is not moving to Hawaii when the boys were babys and I had half a chance) Anyway... My days off were great, the boys and I planted all sorts of seeds, tomatoes, eggplants, artichokes, nasturtium, hollyhocks, we even planted some already grown plants including a good looking super sized strawberry jar bursting with strawberries. Some with fruit already on them! And some romiane lettuce before it gets too hot and 2 squash vines, a pack of heirloom tomatoes(six plants for all of those of you who could care less) And what else. hmmm... Oh yes and Johnny built me an arbor over the entry to the courtyard. Its great I love it. The boys want to put tomatoes on it but IM thinking more a nice muscadine grape vine so I can get irritated every year when I try to wait for the grapes to ripen on the vine only to discover the stinking wildlife around this place found them ripe first. We will have to see who wins, Im thinkin me but you never know.

I forgot how much fun kids can be

I took Noah to the zoo with my Mom. We met my sister in law Brianna her two kids and her friend Sandy and her grandoughter Thalia (who is by the way the most beautiful thing on earth, she has long dark curly hair and gourgous dark skin and eyes that just suck you in!) Anyway...I had such a good time being around all the kids seeing their faces as they checked out animals and stuck their food in their slushys it was great. They fed the parrots andpretended to pet the animals threw the glass. Noah had never been to the zoo. I felt strange becouse I had taken hunter and Tyler to the zoo at least 3 times before they were two and he had not been, not that he knows that or anything. But I had so much fun I had forgotten that kids were really alot of fun to be around. I spend all my time consumed with clean laundry and made beds and showers and meals and homework and books to read and toys to pick up that sometimes kids just seem to equal lots of chores to do. I forget to take time and enjoy them before its to late. The laundry can wait and I probably wont remember that the house was a disaster last week but the trip to the zoo, thats priceless.

My sister in law

I saw a commercial that reminded me of Brianna the other day. There's a lady sitting in front of a washer and dryer in the dark so you cant see her face as she confesses to enrolling her 4 kids in soccer not because she's a sports fan but for the grass stains. The commercial is for a Clorox bleach gel pen. Brianna is a notorious clean freak and laundry is her chocolate. She loves it! I on the other hand wait till I cant walk threw the laundry room if I can help it. Although I have made drastic efforts recently to mend my ways, I don't think I will ever love laundry. But I had to laugh when I saw that commercial, it is so Brianna!
