Sick Sick Sick and more sick

It never fails the return to school followed by the never ending illnesses. One of them brings it home and spreads it around SLOWLY to everybody else despite my best eferts to keep the house ridiculously sanitised. I evidently dont understand where germs hide. Or maybe my Lysol is not doing its part. Anyway this time its Strep throat courtesy of Mandarin Middle school. Fun Fun Fun. Elizabeths tonsils were swolen up so big that there was maybe a quater of an inch betweenthem for air to go down her throat. From the outside it looked like goiters forming.(And that was after a day on antibiotics) Trust me it looked painful. Its been 7 days and the swelling isnt gone on one side. Then Hunter got sick, and suprise suprise Strep thraot comes with vomiting in small children. WHO KNEW? So Ive had the last two days off of work, (well work that you get paid for anyway) and I must say tha at home mom stuff is so not my mindset of the perfect life anymore. I need air, clean air, sunlight, just to go somewhere! It didnt exactly help that its been raining with the tropical stormsystem just south ofus off the coast. And guess what my roof fell in in my bedroom. Johnny fixed the leak on the roof this afternoon. Hopefully it will last long enough for me to get the crap out of this house!I think ill go rent a hotel by the week. What is that 1500 a month. It would be at least a week or two before one room full of 6 people would make me need to check in at teh looney bin. (who am I ikidding, I would never last that long) But there would be air conditioning! maybe I should go watch the news again, that will chear me up. At least the roof still exists right? And Im sure that after a few more days Hunter wont be looking at me with that face that breaks your heart becouse theres nothing you cando to help him but give him the medicine and wait for it to help. His sitting on the couch with his mouth open reading Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix for the third time.( This time he is reading it to get the AR (accelerated Reader) points for the AR store at school. It gets him 44 points. Most books only get you 4 or 5. He stops ever 15 or 20 minutes to complain about the pain and then picks up reading again. Only Hunter!

I hope everyone gets better soon around there! You know you could find an extended stay hotel that would not cost as much as a regular hotel.
